Message: | hello,i am doing a project on GSM based car security.I am using AT89C55WD mc and nokia n73(old) phone.i write the microcontroller code to send SMS in text mode using AT command.I want to know, does nokia n73 understand text mode command or not? or it only understand the PDU mode using FBUS protocol.I suggest you to give the necessary information and diagram for a complete sending SMS project using microcontroller. |

Message: | Hi,
I'm a newbie to electronics and got interested on this project.
I tried to make my own fbus cable, since a can't find any, using the diagram on your site however i can't find any 100nF capacitor in my locality. is there any alternative value aside from this one? |

Message: | I've got the whole circuit and wrote the code too but aint working, in code i used serial interrupt to take values into an recieve buffer which is 50 bytes long, while in circuit i used a 10k/6.3k voltage divider on one end and a 1k ( and then 2k too) resistor as current limiter, but still i dont recieve any data, my code is correct i guess, its a problem with the hardware, what do you suggest mate? |
