Hi, I got the cable you specified.
I not clear in your explanation what you gave regarding some changes that has to made in the cable. could you please explain me regarding the connection.I just connected the cable to PC COM to Mobile directly but its not working fine. Please help me out...

ok.first tel me what r u using on pc side?there is a software called logomanager which u can search on google.this is the official software which connects to mbus or fbus cables.check if the cable is detected on this software.then i wil tel more

Abicash I downloaded the “LogoManager Pro Suite V2.8.5 demo” It detected my phone connected through the cable I got to PC COM. But how can I send and receive or delete an SMS through the hyper terminal with AT Commands. I am finding difficulty in that.

Could you help me how can I do it? Since later I have to interface this mobile with microcontroller to get the desired functionality.

Please help me out…

NOKIA 3310/15 DOES NOT SUPPORT AT COMMANDS!
Please bear this in mind.
Did you get an FBUS,MBUS or FBUS+MBUS cable?
You can determine that as follows
1.Open the connector end screws which r fitted on
phone side.
2.they r having 4 terminals.
3.cross check my section "Setting up the phone"
4.Now is MBUS pin used?
5.If it is,then remove connections from all 4 pins
6.use only Tx,Rx and gnd.
7.Now remove the 9pin header(cut it)
8.put a plain 9pin header in place
9.now you dont have to worry abt DTR RTS
10.Just take care not to give 5V to mobile
bcos it works on 3v.

Now the portion of connecting to PC is considered
You have to initiate sync by sending
55hex more than 100 times to phone.
You can use hyperterm for that bcos
55hex='U' and can be sent thru ur keyboard
but few hex values can be sent remember

next check the few strings i added in excel sheet

so is that we have to send HEX Frames Directly through the hyperterminal?

And in my cable 4 pin are seperate so it is a Fbus cable right!

No Pins has been soldered together all are seperately soldered to each pins.

Should i remove the Mbus Pin connection?i mean does it should not go to Mobile phones?ie; Left free with no connection..

Should i cut the DB9 female from the cable and connect it with new DB9 Female?
But i contains some electronis for level conversion right! could you give a clear explanation please...
