What is access port software?Never heard.Does it send data serially?Tel me actual sequence of wat u did?

Access port is a software to monitor the serial port...
we can send serial data through it... either in hex format or in char format...
since i am connecting mobile to PC i didn't cut the DB9 of the cable, i directly connected to mobile and PC.
And through this ACCESSPORT Software i keep sending 128 0x55 and later this frame to get H/W and S/W version no of mobile phone.
Frame is :1E 00 0C D1 00 07 00 01 00 03 00 01 60 00 72 D5
the mobile doesn't give me any version details as you given...

If i do so as specified above will it access or not?

Mobile is responding with "ACCESSPORT" directly by sending the serial data frames... Is that the check sum we have to calculate by our own.. ie;I am talking about the last 2 bytes of the frames for sending an SMS....

yes u have to calculate checksums
(read tutorial on sequence no. and chksums)

even if u change a single byte in the
frame,the checksums will change!

I will jus check what ACCESSPORT is.

One more thing to add.You can test this thing
1)Send an sms to the cellphone connected to
the PC from any other cellphone.
2)Check if PC receives some frames on ACCESSPORT
or Bray's Serial terminal.
3)copy that and paste it here(forum)

Its not copy pasting directly from the ACCESSPORT... so i just took a screenshot of the reply i got to the ACCESSPORT and sent it to your mail ID.. Please check it out... the picture is not pasting in the forum thats why...
